Character Rules
  • - If you write about sensitive topics, put a trigger warning at the start of the thread.
  • - Characters must be realistic, no paranormal stuff allowed and no characters taken from tv or other media.
  • - Characters must be at least 18 years old.
  • - Do not use AI to write your character (images are fine).
  • - Do not use well known celebrities as your character photo.
  • - Make sure your character does not conflict with our general rules.
  • - Include your character’s first and last name in your server discord profile
  • - Log into the server (Account Name) with your character’s first and last name.
  • - You are only allowed one active character at a time on the server. If you wish to shelve your character, make a ticket, send us a quick summary of what you see your character doing while they are not being played. You must get confirmation of shelve/unshelve from staff before playing that character or another. Swapping between characters frequently will not be allowed. If you wish to kill your character off, make a ticket and send us a graveyard post or tell us your idea for an ending if you like assistance.
  • - When your character dies (from PvP or you choose to accept death by zombie), you may create a new character. This character must not be a continuation of your previous character. This means a different personality, backstory and relationships. Once in game, you must create new friendships and join different groups of players. If you are invited to join a group that your previous character was a part of, you will have to seek approval from management via ticket and explain the IC actions that support this invitation. Under no circumstances are you allowed to benefit from a prior character's belongings, relationships or contributions to a group. You are not allowed to pursue a group or party responsible for a prior character's death.
What if I want to make an antagonist? We're not using that term. Make an interesting, realistic character with motivations, secrets and goals. Give them personality and good reasoning for their behavior. There are no special rules for what other games would call 'antagonists.'
